About the Role
As a Robotics Developer, you will:
- Design, build, and support robotic automation solutions using NICE Real Time Designer
- Collaborate in an Agile DevOps team specialising in process automation
- Develop scalable, repeatable solutions that enhance existing systems with new functionality
This hands-on role prioritises problem-solving, quality assurance, and supporting live services with proactive monitoring.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Design and deploy high-quality robotic automation solutions aligned with business needs
- Work within Agile methodology to estimate, plan, and deliver user stories and technical tasks
- Write clean, secure, and well-tested code, adhering to Design Principles
- Contribute to engineering best practices, continuously seeking improvements in methodologies
- Monitor and maintain live service performance, resolving production issues proactively
- Mentor junior colleagues, fostering skill growth across the team
Note: This role may include line management responsibilities for apprentices and junior developers.
Requirements
Essential Criteria
To qualify for this role, you must demonstrate:
- Practical experience in building automation solutions using NICE RPA tools (or similar RPA platforms)
- Agile software development experience, including:
- Estimation & planning
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency with:
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Version control tools (e.g., Git)
- Experience with:
- Performance, accessibility, and security testing
- Supporting live systems using monitoring/observability tools
- Ability to debug and optimise technical challenges

Desirable Criteria
Experience in the following would be advantageous:
- NICE Robotics Process Automation
- API integration with robotic services
- Database interaction (e.g., SQL)
- Continuous delivery pipelines
- Web technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript)
- Programming: SQL and C# (or equivalent)
Location Notes

Office Closures
