Software Developer – Sports Trading Platform

Our focus on In-Play betting has solidified our market-leading position, featuring more than 1.38 million In-Play sporting events a year. Job Description
As a Software Developer, you will collaborate with a team of exceptionally skilled professionals dedicated to the development, enhancement, and support of our cutting-edge Sports Trading Platform.

Working within the trading and tools team, you will develop a diverse range of applications, including:
- Desktop solutions: WPF & WinForms
- Backend services: .NET & Golang
- SQL Server stored procedures
Your contribution will be vital in delivering real-time data through our innovative trading platform, empowering the trading department to:
- Create, configure, and trade sporting and non-sporting events
- Enable customers to place bets on a vast array of outcomes
Our technology stack includes:
- C#.NET
- SQL Server
- Golang
In-house training is provided to further enhance your skills. This role presents exciting challenges in a hardworking, delivery-focused environment, looking for individuals with a diverse range of technical skills prepared to address the most pressing challenges in technology and support our growth in emerging markets worldwide.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Qualifications
Proven expertise in:
- Commercial C# and MS SQL Server
- Windows applications and Microservices architecture
Desirable:
- Experience with WPF
Preferred knowledge/skills:
- Kafka
- Web or cloud technologies
- Git version control
- Linux
- Experience with handling data from external providers

- Developing and supporting highly efficient, robust, and quality code for applications and services
- Maintaining clean coding practices

- Supporting the testing team during project phases
- Contributing to innovative solution proposals
- Identifying technical areas for improvement
