Job Title Software Development Engineering - Java About your role: At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineering - Advisor I, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs. What you'll do: Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities. Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary. Experience you'll need to have: Experience in software development Experience in Java programming language Experience in SQL databases Experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience with Agile methodologies Equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience Experience that would be great to have: Experience in the financial services industry Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
