This organization is at the forefront of developing groundbreaking solutions that impact millions worldwide, fostering an environment where curiosity and creativity drive progress.

Are you ready to make a significant impact on an internal product that empowers teams and drives efficiency within a cutting-edge technological ecosystem? We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Software Engineer to join a dynamic team, where your expertise will directly contribute to the design, implementation, and evolution of critical features using advanced AI tooling. This is an incredible opportunity to take full ownership of projects, collaborate with brilliant minds, and see your contributions come to life, shaping the tools that enable innovation at scale.

This is a 6-month contract, offering up to £46.15 per hour – 40 hrs/week (PAYE). The shortlisted candidates will be contacted ASAP. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and build features for an internal product, leveraging AI tooling to create innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to end-to-end tasks, making largely independent technical contributions towards larger goals with minimal assistance.
  • Independently plan, prioritize, and execute work, identifying and resolving technical problems within requirements.
  • Participate in design discussions, often with guidance, and contribute to qualification, end-user documentation, production deployment/monitoring, process automation, and customer support.
  • Set up or improve test/monitoring/survey infrastructure or processes, considering code health, system maintainability, and scalability.
  • Contribute to existing documentation and educational content, adapting based on product updates and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues, debugging and resolving by analyzing sources and impact on operations and quality.
  • Write product or system development code for tasks with minimal assistance.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing beyond unit tests (e.g., integration, performance, stress, security, load, fuzz), and design code for easy testability.
  • Review code developed by peers, providing feedback on best practices, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
  • Identify and address technical debt to enhance long-term maintainability and modifiability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
