An innovative organisation in the financial services sector is looking for a Software Engineer

The successful candidate will join the AI/ML for Engineering team to combine cutting-edge techniques with unique data assets to optimise business decisions and automate processes. This role offers a unique blend of artificial intelligence and software engineering to build impactful products.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing advanced machine learning models to address complex operational challenges and evaluating their business impact.
  • Architecting and overseeing the deployment of generative AI applications and agents to enhance business processes.
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to translate strategic business needs into comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Analyzing large datasets to extract actionable insights and supporting data-driven decision-making at a strategic level.
  • Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of AI/ML solutions in a production environment while mentoring junior team members.

What We're Looking For

  • Advanced degree in a STEM field with a proven track record of AI/ML model development and deployment.
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn and proficiency in Python.
  • Deep familiarity with MLOps practices, covering the full lifecycle from design to monitoring and maintenance.
  • Extensive experience with generative AI models and cloud service APIs, specifically within AWS platforms.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
