Research Engineer (Machine Learning / LLM) | Meta FAIR | London | Contract
๐ Location: London, King's Cross (Hybrid โ 3 days onsite) ๐ Contract: 6 Months (Extension Possible) ๐ผ Start: ASAP
Metaโs Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) team is looking for Research Engineers to join one of the worldโs leading AI research organisations. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Generative AI, and Machine Learning systems alongside world-class researchers and engineers.

What Youโll Be Working On
- Building AI Agents and next-generation LLM systems
- Designing and running large-scale machine learning experiments
- Developing research tools and ML infrastructure
- Writing high-quality Python code using PyTorch
- Collaborating with AI researchers to solve challenging problems at scale
What Weโre Looking For
We are seeking candidates with:
- Experience in Machine Learning / Deep Learning
- Strong Python and PyTorch skills
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, Foundation Models, or AI Agents
- Strong engineering and problem-solving skills
- A research mindset with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
