Join a high-caliber team of 17 building the future of behavioral simulation. As a Software Engineer at Electric Twin, you will:

  • Own complex systems from design to deployment, orchestrating foundation models and data pipelines.
  • Tackle real engineering challenges, including system design, reliability, and performance, while shaping a product used by major organizations like The Times.
  • Work at the intersection of AI and behavioral science, delivering 10,000x faster results than traditional research methods.

🎯 What You Will Do

  • Design and build scalable services, data models, and APIs for behavioral simulation workflows using Python, FastAPI, and TypeScript.
  • Take full ownership of product capabilities, collaborating with data scientists to translate research into robust, customer-facing features.
  • Lead engineering trade-offs between speed and rigor, ensuring systems are reliable, reusable, and trustworthy.

👩‍💻 The Ideal Candidate

  • End-to-end ownership – Strong track record of shipping meaningful products and living with technical trade-offs in a modern stack.
  • Judgment under uncertainty – Ability to balance speed vs. polish and iterate based on real customer feedback.
  • Stack proficiency or willingness to learn – Familiarity with (or eagerness to master) Python, TypeScript, React, and GCP, with a focus on engineering fundamentals over framework-specific expertise.
