FULL-STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Catapult is building the future of sports performance technology, with a mission to Unleash the Potential of every athlete and team on earth. We don't just work in the sporting industry; we are actively changing it. Since 2006, our solutions have been leading the way in sports performance software, science, and data, in a world where 1% can literally mean the difference between winning and losing.

We work with over 5,000+ teams around the world, empowering coaches, managers, and trainers in premier teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, EPL, AFL, NRL, NCAA, and more. We provide the information they need to optimize athletes’ health, game-day readiness, and performance, as well as in-game tactics.

Catapult is a sports technology company that empowers professional teams to make data-driven decisions. We deliver health, performance, video, and AI insights from the locker room to competitive environments, ensuring every decision is an opportunity to gain an advantage, sharpen performance, and build lasting success.

WE WANT PEOPLE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT MAKING COACHES MORE PRODUCTIVE

We are looking for a foundational Web Engineer to spearhead our transition into modern web and mobile application ecosystems. Currently, our core engineering strengths lie in high-performance C++/Qt desktop development. However, as our platform evolves, we are increasingly moving key administrative, collaborative, and customer-facing workflows to the web and mobile wrapped environments. This role is a unique hybrid of architecture, rapid product prototyping, and strategic engineering leadership. You will be the first "pure web" engineer on this team, responsible for bridging our existing backend architecture with high-fidelity, production-grade frontend applications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Productize Core Utilities: Transform an existing library of internal scripts, data importers, and management tools into reliable, production-ready web applications.
  • Migrate & Innovate Workflows: Decentralize complex workflows (such as group administration and user management) out of traditional thick clients and rebuild them into seamless web and hybrid experiences.
  • Serve as a "Tiger Team" Catalyst: Act as a high-mobility rapid responder to build bespoke tools, custom league integrations, and special project solutions for high-profile clients where pivoting our core platform (Focus) is too heavy.
  • Establish Engineering Standards: Define modern web best practices, set up robust CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with Catapult’s wider web divisions to align technology stacks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
