Backend Engineer
An innovative organisation in the technology sector is looking for a Backend Engineer. The successful candidate will join a high-performing engineering team to design and scale complex, data-intensive systems and real-time pipelines.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and scaling complex backend systems to support high-growth requirements.
- Developing data-intensive platforms involving real-time streaming architectures.
- Building and maintaining graph-based services for advanced data processing.
- Collaborating with the Head of Engineering to define technical roadmaps and architectural standards.
- Optimising system performance and reliability across distributed environments.

What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in backend development using Python.
- Proven track record of working with streaming architectures and real-time data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of graph-based services and complex data structures.
- Experience designing systems that scale effectively under heavy data loads.
- Ability to work on-site in London four days per week.
