Software Engineer
Mid-Level Software Engineer (Golf Course Management Platform) – Belfast

Job Description
We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our product and technology team based in Belfast and work on our golf course management platform.
This role will focus on the design, development, and evolution of the core systems that power millions of annual bookings and transactions, supporting our customers and partners.
As a mid-level engineer, you will collaborate in a cross-functional team to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. You’ll contribute across the full software development lifecycle, taking ownership of features and technical initiatives that directly impact our platform and users.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Build and enhance APIs and backend services for web and mobile applications
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions
- Deliver high-quality code with appropriate automated testing
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Ensure the reliability, performance, security, and observability of core platform services
- Participate in code reviews and advocate for engineering best practices
- Own work items and deliver them on schedule
- Drive continuous improvement of tools, processes, and development standards
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience building backend systems using modern programming languages and frameworks
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and web services
- Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience in cloud-based or distributed environments
- Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
