Software Engineer
Job Description
- A fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS company is looking for a Backend Engineer. You will join a highly collaborative engineering team responsible for designing, building, and scaling backend services that power an innovative automation platform.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Kotlin.
- Build and scale applications using the Spring Boot framework to support a growing SaaS platform.
- Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making within a startup environment.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver new features and improve platform performance.
- Help establish engineering best practices and improve system reliability as the team continues to grow.

What We're Looking For
- Proven commercial experience with Java and Kotlin development.
- Strong experience building and deploying applications with Spring Boot.
- Previous experience working in a startup, scale-up, or founding team environment.
- Ability to take ownership of technical projects and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the UK without requiring current or future sponsorship.
