Safety-Critical Software Engineer

Oxford, UK (Hybrid)
Up to £65,000 pa

Join an innovative technology company developing next-generation software for safety-critical autonomous systems. Working at the forefront of AI, aerospace and autonomy, you'll help build high-integrity software that enables autonomous platforms to operate safely in highly regulated environments.

The Role

You'll develop embedded software supporting runtime assurance, autonomous control, and mission-critical applications, collaborating closely with software, systems, and verification engineers to deliver robust, certifiable solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience developing embedded software using C, C++, Ada, or SPARK Ada
  • Background in safety-critical or highly regulated environments
  • Knowledge of real-time embedded systems and software verification
  • Exposure to DO-178C or similar safety standards is highly desirable
  • Experience within aerospace, defence, autonomous systems, avionics, UAVs, or eVTOL would be advantageous
