Software Engineer
An innovative organisation in the aerospace and communications sector is looking for a Software Engineer. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced team developing cutting-edge wireless technology to improve global communications infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing, developing, and testing software across different hardware subsystems.
- Supporting test automation, system integration, and deployment for optical ground stations.
- Developing new systems to support control, automation, and high-performance data developments.
- Taking full responsibility for designs from initial implementation through to ground station integration.
- Contributing to continuous improvements in software processes and automated testing frameworks.

What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in real-time embedded development using C and C++.
- Proven background with RTOS, Linux, and networking protocols such as Ethernet, IP, I2C, and SPI.
- At least 4 years of relevant commercial experience post-graduation.
- Proficiency with Git version control, CI systems, and Python for test scripting.
- Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
