Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

  • Migrate residual logic from a legacy library into a new, high-performance C++ engine.
  • Build clean, adaptable, and optimized code for future enhancements.
  • Reconcile mathematical formulas to ensure numerical outcomes are consistent with the original library.
  • Collaborate with IT colleagues to test performance, scalability, and production delivery.
  • Contribute to a core quantitative engine that has been rebuilt from the ground up.

What You'll Need

  • Strong experience with C++ including C++17.
  • Experience working within large, shared codebases in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Python for testing and validation.
  • Proficiency with Git for source control.
  • Ability to understand and reconcile complex mathematical formulas and financial algorithms.
  • Solid background in Fixed Income (e.g., Rates, Bonds, Credit, Inflation, XVA, Derivatives, or Cash Flows).
