Software Engineer (Angular)
Location: London St Giles, Hybrid
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £46.15 Equivalent to £370 a day
Are you a Full-Stack Software Engineer with strong Angular experience looking for your next contract opportunity?
We're looking for an experienced engineer to join a high-performing team, developing and enhancing modern, enterprise-scale web applications. This is a 6-month contract where you'll be expected to make an immediate impact, working across both front-end and back-end technologies in a collaborative Agile environment.
The Role
This is a full-stack engineering role, with approximately 60% focused on front-end development using Angular and TypeScript and 40% on backend development, APIs, and application services.
You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build scalable, high-quality web applications, contribute to technical design discussions, and deliver new features across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise-scale web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Work across the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot, optimise, and enhance application performance.
- Contribute to front-end architecture, API design, and technical decision-making.
Top 3 Non-Negotiables
- Strong commercial Angular & TypeScript experience – candidates must have recent hands-on Angular experience and be able to contribute immediately.
- Proven full-stack experience building and delivering enterprise web applications.
- Strong backend development experience, including building and integrating RESTful APIs.

Skills & Experience
- Commercial experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Experience building scalable, responsive web applications.
- Backend development experience with APIs and server-side technologies.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and clean architecture.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Please Note
Commercial Angular experience is an absolute must-have for this role. Due to the 6-month contract duration, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute from day one with minimal ramp-up.
