Key Responsibilities Architecture & Scalability: Design and optimise robust blockchain product architecture, keeping scalability, security, and peak performance at the absolute forefront. Smart Contract Lifecycle: Contribute to the end-to-end development, integration, and internal auditing of high-value smart contracts across decentralised protocols. R&D and PoCs: Conduct advanced technical research and execute proof-of-concept (PoC) experiments to pioneer new features within the DeFi space. Cross-Chain Innovation: Design and evolve cross-chain interoperability solutions, including atomic swaps and advanced bridging infrastructure. Gas Optimisation: Deep-dive into execution efficiency, writing logic with a strong focus on gas preservation and low-latency performance. Security & Audit Collaboration: Systematically analyse attack vectors, enforce ironclad security protocols, and collaborate directly with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless product launches. Engineering Excellence: Champion rigorous code reviews, build effective CI/CD pipelines for Web3, and collaborate closely across the engineering ecosystem to scale our technical capabilities.

Job Requirements Proven Footprint: Professional software development experience, with a dedicated focus on production-grade blockchain engineering and decentralised architectures. EVM & Protocol Mastery: Strong, native understanding of the Ethereum ecosystem, smart contracts, and the underlying mechanics of decentralized applications (dApps). Language Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience developing with Solidity, Yul, or Rust. Scaling & Infrastructure: Experience deploying to Layer 2 solutions (Optimistic & ZK Rollups) or manipulating cross-chain protocols. Security Focus: A strong grounding in smart contract security principles, vulnerability mitigation, and testing methodologies.

Skills Languages: Strong working proficiency in Solidity, Yul, Rust, and TypeScript. Frameworks: Mastery of modern smart contract development and deployment workflows, specifically Foundry or Hardhat. DeFi Domain: Deep interest in or understanding of AMMs, liquidity pools, complex mathematical models, and oracle integrations (e.g., Chainlink). Systems: Experience or strong foundational knowledge in building high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
