About Revolut

People deserve more from their money. More visibility, more control, and more freedom. Since 2015, Revolut has been on a mission to deliver just that. Our powerhouse of products — including spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more — help our 75+ million customers get more from their money every day.

As we continue our lightning-fast growth, 2 things are essential to our success: our people and our culture. In recognition of our outstanding employee experience, we've been certified as a Great Place to Work™. So far, we have 13,000+ people working around the world, from our offices and remotely, to help us achieve our mission. And we're looking for more brilliant people. People who love building great products, redefining success, and turning the complexity of a chaotic world into the simplicity of a beautiful solution.

About The Role

Our Technology team builds the systems and experiences that keep Revolut moving. From the infrastructure behind our innovative app to the features used by millions of people around the world, they bring sharp thinking, speed, and a focus on meaningful impact to everything they do.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer with expertise in self-managed storage solutions, such as Redis and Kafka, who’s excited about building and operating critical infrastructure at a global scale.

Since most of our core infrastructure is designed, built, and operated internally, you'll be developing for resilience, automation, and scale from day one.

Up to shape what’s next in finance? Let’s get in touch.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing, operating, and evolving our storage solutions, such as Kafka clusters at scale, across cloud and/or on-premise environments
  • Building and maintaining self-managed, highly available distributed systems (messaging, storage, data infrastructure)
  • Architecting multi-region deployments, failover strategies, and disaster recovery for mission-critical systems
  • Developing infrastructure as code and internal self-service platforms to enable engineering teams to provision and operate safely at scale
  • Driving automation across provisioning, scaling, upgrades, patching, and incident remediation
  • Contributing to reliability standards (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets) and improving observability across the stack
  • Working closely with backend, platform, security, and compliance teams to design infrastructure that meets regulatory and audit requirements
  • Participating in incident response and postmortem processes, focusing on systemic improvements rather than firefighting

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
