The Team and Areas of Ownership
The Digital Showroom team is reimagining B2B sales enablement, building a sophisticated platform that gives sales teams seamless, read-only access to rich product data sourced directly from Akeneo's PIM. Concretely, that means a multi-tenant SaaS application serving many organizations from one platform, each with isolated data that maps large, complex product datasets into a fast, searchable experience for business users.
You'll engineer the solutions that empower Sales Executives in e-commerce to find exactly the product information they need, instantly and, as the product grows, may extend into areas such as AI-powered natural-language search, private showrooms for sharing curated selections with external guest users, and integrations with CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) solutions.
How We Work
We work as an Impact Team: a cross-functional group aligned around a specific, measurable impact for our customers rather than a list of features to ship.
- We work backwards from the customer, start small, and let experimentation and data, not opinions, guide what we build and what we choose not to build.
- For each topic we set an appetite — the amount of time we're willing to invest —and ship the best version we can within it.
In that environment, you:
- Favor an iterative, experiment-driven approach — ship small, learn fast, refine
- Take end-to-end ownership of what you build ("Built It, Own It")
- Solve complex, ambiguous problems and bring clarity to them
- Design and reason about distributed systems
- Stay performance-minded — latency, scale, and cost
- Give and receive feedback openly — we grow together
- Mentor and lift the people around you
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What You'll Deliver in This Role
- Shape the future of a massive serverless cloud environment by architecting scalable solutions on GCP, leveraging Node.js, React, and Next.js.
- Deliver high-quality software solutions by taking ownership of technical initiatives within your team's project domain, balancing short-term implementation with long-term maintainability.
- Proactively consider customer use cases and support tickets to identify edge cases, suggest improvements, and address customer pain points.
- Working cross-functionally with team members and key stakeholders across product initiatives.
- Grow into a senior engineer: actively participate in code reviews, pairing, and engaging with the wider Staff Engineering group.
What We'll Set You Up for Success
- Hands-on Full-Stack Experience: Proficiency within a Cloud environment utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem technologies (Node.js, React, Next.js) and GCP.
- Analytical Problem Solver: You dig deep to understand the "Why" behind requirements, uncover root causes during debugging, and leverage existing patterns rather than reinventing the wheel.
- Quality & Edge-Case Mindset: You treat quality as foundational, leveraging automated testing (TDD mindset) and proactively identifying edge cases before code hits production.
- Comfortable with Ambiguity: You thrive when given clear problems to solve with autonomy, knowing when to raise questions and ask for help when blocked.
- Data-Backed Communication: You communicate clearly, back your technical choices with data, and foster a collaborative environment through active listening and constructive debate.
- Pragmatic AI Practitioner: You use AI tools (like Claude Code) to reason through complex problems, explore solutions, and learn faster—focusing on what to build and why.
You don't need to tick every box. We strongly encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply. If you are excited about this opportunity but your experience is slightly different, we still want to hear from you!
