Senior AI Research Scientist (Foundational AI)

About the Role
Are you passionate about creating profound change in artificial intelligence? We are seeking a visionary AI researcher to join our foundational AI research team. In this role, you will:
✔ Conduct cutting-edge research to advance machine learning systems ✔ Design innovative tools, methods, and infrastructure for scaling large language models ✔ Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional teams to align technical direction with business goals ✔ Develop and refine strategy, gathering requirements to create impactful roadmaps ✔ Deliver high-quality code in partnership with engineering teams ✔ Publish and communicate research findings that drive product innovation

Responsibilities
- Propose and execute high-scale AI research in key areas such as large language models and generative AI.
- Develop and apply novel algorithms to improve model efficiency, scalability, and performance.
- Publish and present research outcomes that drive breakthroughs in AI capabilities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate technical findings into actionable product features.
- Leverage machine learning expertise to solve real-world challenges at enterprise scale.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
🔸 Experience in machine learning, AI, recommendation systems, or pattern recognition 🔹 Proficiency in Python and a strong foundation in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch) 🔹 Ability to query and utilise large language models, implement post-training methodologies 🔸 Proven track record of developing scalable AI models, designing robust experiments, and analysing large datasets 🔹 Demonstrated capability to turn technical insights into business impact 🔸 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related engineering fields

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
🔸 Doctoral Degree or Master’s degree in AI, machine learning, or related research fields 🔸 Practical experience in generative AI, large language models, or conversational AI systems 🔸 Strong background in statistical AI models, neuromorphic computing, or transformative algorithm optimisation
