What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain scalable backend infrastructure using Python and Java/Kotlin to support large-scale ML data processing and model serving.
- Design and implement robust data pipelines and API integrations that connect ML models to core platform services in production environments.
- Refactor existing systems to improve performance, reliability, and latency while adapting to ambiguous product requirements and tactical constraints.
The ideal candidate
- Has 2-4+ years of professional software engineering experience with specific exposure to ML systems or data-intensive backend applications.
- Is proficient in Python and familiar with ML frameworks like PyTorch or Scikit-learn, alongside strong core backend engineering fundamentals.
- Thrives in high-ownership, fast-paced environments and possesses the grit to solve complex deployment challenges in regulated or defense contexts.
