Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale ETD middle office clearing platforms, leveraging Java, Python, cloud technologies, and FIS clearing systems to support critical trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance ETD middle office clearing solutions, integrating with FIS CD Trade Clearing and related trading platforms.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, resilient software solutions aligned with financial services and regulatory standards.
  • Build applications using Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot, and Python.
  • Implement secure coding practices, test-driven development (TDD), and SDLC best practices.
  • Develop automation solutions using Bash and PowerShell scripting.
  • Design and deploy cloud-native solutions within Azure and Kubernetes environments.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, release management, and operational controls.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders within Agile delivery teams.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong Java development experience with Spring Core and Spring Boot.
  • Commercial experience with Python development.
  • Knowledge of FIS CD Trade Clearing or similar middle office trading and clearing platforms.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab-based development workflows.
  • Cloud engineering experience, particularly Azure and Kubernetes.
  • Financial services experience, ideally within trading, clearing, or capital markets environments.
  • Understanding of secure software development and regulatory compliance requirements.
