Job Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver product features as part of domain-owned epics within our Agile workflow
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority defects, both existing and newly discovered
- Engage in code reviews, upholding excellence and promoting continuous learning
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through structured knowledge sharing
- Ensure high-quality, defendable code alongside robust testing and adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape, design, and release features
- Stay updated on the latest technologies to maintain cutting-edge innovation
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including:
- Daily stand-ups
- Backlog grooming
- Sprint planning
- Retrospectives
- Create and maintain technical documentation during development or exploratory phases
- Integrate Accessibility (WCAG), Security, Observability, and Performance into all applications and deliverables

Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Formal education or certification in software engineering, complemented by advanced professional experience in Java/Kotlin
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with Android architecture patterns, including:
- MVVM
- Use Cases
- Clean Architecture
- Proficiency in unit testing using JUnit or modern frameworks (e.g., Mockito, MockK)
- Familiarity with Dependency Injection frameworks like Dagger/Hilt
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Proficient in version control (e.g., Git)
- Deep knowledge of core Android libraries and frameworks, including:
- Compose
- Coroutines
- Flows
- RxJava
- Retrofit (for networking)
- Security libraries
- Exceptional communication skills, with ability to collaborate seamlessly across teams, coordinating with Product, Operations, and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred
- Mobile Application Security and cryptography expertise
- Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Knowledge of alternative Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban)
- Commercial background in Fintech, leveraging your expertise in financial services
- Exposure to cross-platform frameworks (e.g., React Native)
