Software Engineer
Software Developer (.NET)
Location: Evesham, Worcestershire Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 (DOE) Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week | Hybrid (up to 2 days WFH after probation)

We’re working with a growing UK-based digital retailer to recruit a talented Software Developer to join their in-house technology team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-traffic, customer-facing systems while contributing to the ongoing development and optimisation of core platforms.

The Role
As a Software Developer, you’ll play a key role across the full software development lifecycle, working with modern Microsoft technologies to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

- Designing and implementing software solutions in line with best practices
- Developing and maintaining applications using:
- C#
- ASP.NET MVC
- Web APIs
- SQL Server
- Participating in analysis, development, testing, and deployment activities
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Taking part in code reviews and contributing to high coding standards
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
- Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and suggesting improvements
About You
We’re looking for a developer who enjoys problem-solving and working as part of a team. You’ll ideally have:
- 2+ years’ commercial experience in software development
- Strong experience with the following:
- C#
- ASP.NET MVC
- Web APIs
- Solid SQL Server (MSSQL) experience, including writing efficient queries
- A keen eye for detail and a logical approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Confidence working with third-party documentation and system integrations
