🚨 Senior Playwright SDET | £700/day | Outside IR35 | Front Office Trading | London
I'm working with a leading global investment bank looking to hire an exceptional Playwright SDET to join their Front Office Derivatives Technology team.
This isn't your typical automation role. You'll be embedded within a high-performing engineering team, working directly alongside developers on a strategic front end trading platform. The rate reflects the calibre of engineer they're looking for.
💰 Package
- £700 per day
- Outside IR35
- 12-month rolling contract
- 1 day per week in the London office

You must have:
- Strong commercial experience with Playwright
- Excellent coding skills in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
- Previous experience working on trading applications within an investment bank or financial markets environment would be highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of modern front-end technologies
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work closely with developers on a complex front-end application
The opportunity
You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining automation frameworks, improving test coverage and helping deliver one of the bank's strategic trading platforms. You'll work in a collaborative engineering environment where quality is treated as a core part of software development, not an afterthought.
