Software Engineer
Fully remote, global. Any time zone. Fluent English required.
Conquer AI deploys production-ready AI systems for FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and Fortune 500 clients. We're scaling fast. Our AI agents need somewhere solid to run, and that's what you'll build.
The reality of this role
The model is only half the product. Every AI system we ship sits on top of APIs, services and infrastructure that have to work when a client is watching. If the platform is slow, brittle or hard to extend, it doesn't matter how good the model is underneath it. You'll build both sides, frontend and backend, and connect them to the AI systems our clients depend on. You'll ship features that hold up under real client load, not just in a staging environment.
What you'll own
- Product features across our platform, frontend and backend
- APIs and services that connect our AI systems into client environments
- Code quality, performance and reliability on everything you ship
- CI/CD pipelines and deployment for the features you build
- Technical input into what the platform needs next

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
