Software Engineer, Micro Platforms (Remote)

Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $180K – $250K/year

Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients to fill the Software Engineer, Micro Platforms role on a full-time basis. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable micro platforms that support critical business services. You’ll work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance distributed system solutions in a modern, agile environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant, and reliable micro platforms
  • Implement and optimize backend services using modern development practices
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of platforms
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to engineering best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in distributed systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development
  • Strong proficiency in languages such as Go, Python, or Java
  • Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems principles
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
