Software Engineer (Mid Level) - Climate Tech - Start Up - Python
👀Software Engineer (Mid Level) 🌳Climate Tech 💷£50,000 - £65,000 📍London - Hybrid
This is a great chance to join a well funded start up in the climate tech space and make a real impact as they continue to grow. The team are using Python but open to a range of backgrounds - we are looking for strong engineers with a passion for all things climate tech and happy in a start up environment.
This is a Hybrid role - Average 3 days a week in Waterloo.
The Role
You will work with a small, friendly and high performing team to continue to grow and develop the core product. The engineering culture is pragmatic and collaborative and you will have the chance to collaborate, have impact and start to learn and grow from day one.
What You Will Bring
Experience as a Software Engineer with good hands on experience in Full Stack environments. (Preference for Python but open to any background if happy to work with Python). Desire to ship and maintain production software in a fast moving product environment Demonstrated experience in working with a small team, preferably start up's. Strong object oriented fundamentals applied to complex, evolving production codebases Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across product and engineering teams Energy for rapid iterative delivery cycles rather than resistance to them

Bonus Points
Experience with Django or similar Python based backend frameworks Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP Industry experience in renewable energy, utilities, heat pump technology, or construction A background in product focused engineering environments

Salary
ÂŁ50,000 - ÂŁ65,000 plus great benefits
