Software Engineer (Onboarding) – L2
Location: London Office | Working Model: Hybrid (4 days in the office, 1 day remote)

About You
As a Software Engineer (L2), you’ll join a cutting-edge FinTech division, contributing to mission-critical projects from day one. This role is a launchpad for a successful career in financial technology, offering fast-track development under the guidance of seasoned mentors. Demonstrated performance and potential will lead to accelerated career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable software solutions for our global financial platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, engineers) to drive innovative features and products.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation and technical design to deployment and maintenance.
- Contribute to technical architecture discussions, shaping the evolution of our technology stack.
- Lead efforts to uphold best practices through:
- Rigorous code reviews
- Automated testing
- Adherence to CI/CD principles
- Leverage AI tools responsibly to enhance skills and accelerate learning—ensuring full understanding of any solution built.

Requirements
Essential
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, with a strong academic record.
- 3–4+ years of experience as a software engineer writing production-grade code.
- Proficiency in core computer science principles, including:
- Data structures & algorithms
- Software design
- Complexity analysis
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (*Python, Java, Go, etc.).
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex challenges methodically.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, alongside a collaborative work ethic.

Highly Desirable
➔ Internship experience in software development. ➔ Familiarity with:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) ➔ Contributions to open-source projects or a personal portfolio showcasing technical creativity.
