Looking for a PHP role where you'll work on software that genuinely matters?

You'll join a growing technology business that develops software used within the food manufacturing industry. Following a recent acquisition, the business is investing heavily in expanding its engineering capability and modernising an established PHP platform.

You'll work alongside experienced developers on a substantial application, helping deliver new functionality, resolve technical challenges and contribute towards the platform's migration to Laravel.

It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding complex systems and wants to grow into a senior engineering role.

Initially you'll focus on delivering enhancements, resolving defects and helping reduce a significant development backlog, while gradually becoming involved in wider modernisation initiatives. You'll also gain exposure to architectural improvements, Laravel development and modern engineering practices as the platform evolves.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
