A leading FinTech firm in London is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join its growing technology team. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-performance trading environment where technology is central to the firm’s success across multiple asset classes.
The Role

- Some of the world’s most performant ETL pipelines that deal with billions of data points every second
- Software solutions/products with scale, reliability and latency considerations in mind
- R&D work for functional programming (either pre-existing languages (such as Rust and Erlang), or purpose-built languages similar to OCaml
- Machine Learning Infrastructure and search models
- Quant Logic/Research models for Alpha Generation
Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications
- Build robust backend systems using Python and/or modern frontend interfaces using React
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders and quants
Requirements
- 1-5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience in Python and/or React
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or similar) is preferred
