Ready to develop production-grade software and grow your engineering capability at scale?
At Evri, technology underpins everything we do. Our Engineering teams are building modern, cloud-native platforms that support millions of parcel journeys every day. As we continue to invest in platform modernisation, automation and engineering best practice, we’re looking for Software Engineers who are excited to build high-quality software and accelerate their full-stack journey.
Join us as a Software Engineer and you’ll be a fully contributing engineer, designing, building and maintaining reliable, scalable software while developing your skills across the stack. If you’re passionate about clean code, collaboration and continuous learning, this is a great opportunity to grow your impact.
This role can be based remotely, with travel to Morley when required.

You’ll bring strength in either frontend or backend engineering, while being supported to broaden your experience into full-stack development. You’ll contribute to feature delivery end-to-end, applying modern engineering practices, participating in code reviews, and helping to raise quality and consistency across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet business and user needs.
- Deliver end-to-end features, from design and development through to testing, deployment and ongoing support.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including clean architecture, design patterns and coding standards.
- Write clean, testable and maintainable code, prioritising simplicity and long-term maintainability.
- Implement and maintain robust testing strategies, including unit, integration and automated tests.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Delivery and Engineering peers to align solutions with business goals.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and DevOps practices to improve delivery efficiency.
- Build and maintain production-grade services that are secure, reliable and compliant with architectural standards.
- Continuously develop your technical skills and stay up to date with modern engineering practices and technologies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
