THE ROLE
- Build and deliver customer-facing insurance products across multiple product lines
- Ship high-quality production features within your first few weeks, taking real ownership early
- Contribute to new product launches, partner integrations, and platform enhancements
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Commercial, and Data
- Influence technical decisions and help shape the future direction of the engineering team
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on engineering fundamentals
- Background in Computer Science or a STEM discipline (Russell Group preferred, 2:1 minimum)
- Experience with or exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript and Python (via industry, academic or personal projects)
- Interest in modern technologies such as AWS, Docker, SQL, and front-end development
- Evidence of curiosity and passion for building things (e.g. personal projects, extracurriculars)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Candidates must complete the interview process independently without the use of AI tools

SALARY AND BENEFITS
- £35,000-£41,000 base salary
