About Us
We’re a profitable video game start-up in London with 15 million monthly players and we’re hiring a software engineering intern to join our 11-person founding team for the summer.
Creating games with editable worlds usually takes 20k+ lines of well-optimised code and large amounts of effort. Bloxd gives you editable worlds in 5 lines of code, within 5 minutes. You can play our games at bloxd.io.
About You
You’re passionate about gaming and excited by the prospect of building great games that bring millions together. You have strong engineering fundamentals and a strong product sense, are eager to wear many hats across game design, UI/UX, and community management, and can iterate quickly on a live product whilst learning from player feedback.
You’re equally excited by difficult engineering problems and by voxel, sandbox, and multiplayer games. You think deeply about what makes these games fun and enjoy building the technical systems that make them possible.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
