AUAR is a London-based robotics and Physical AI company automating homebuilding through the deployment of robotic MicroFactories that produce timber structures on-demand.
Job Description
Lead a specialized software team at AUAR to develop MasterBuilder, the platform orchestrating robotic home construction. You will bridge the gap between digital design and physical manufacturing, shipping code that drives real-world production. This hands-on leadership role involves shaping foundational architecture, managing delivery milestones, and scaling systems to manage global MicroFactory deployments.

Why this role is remarkable
- Code with physical impact: Your work directly controls robotic arms and MicroFactories, turning digital designs into physical homes rather than just rendering data.
- Mission-driven innovation: Help solve the global housing crisis by making homebuilding faster, more sustainable, and affordable through cutting-edge Physical AI and automation.
- Inclusive leadership at scale: Join a diverse team where 50% of technical leadership are women, working from a massive 11,000 sq ft R&D facility in London.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
