Software Engineering Manager
A new opportunity has arisen for a Software Engineering Manager who is passionate about leading people to work for a global company with a market-leading suite of security products.
This is a chance to build and lead a high-performing team in a stable, highly innovative environment.
Hybrid Working
- 2 days per week on-site in central Edinburgh.
The Role
This position will entail:
- Building and managing a high-performing, talented team of Software Engineers tasked with tackling real-world problems and enhancing community safety.
- Recruiting, coaching, and mentoring engineers from Graduate to Senior level.
- Driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, while promoting best engineering practices.

Skills & Requirements
The Software Engineering Manager will have:
- A strong background in people leadership and in-depth knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Expertise in Scrum/Agile frameworks.
- Knowledge of Cloud and CI/CD principles.
- The ability to demonstrate leveraging AI tools for optimization. (Highly advantageous)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to leading by example and championing a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
