(Hybrid) Engineering Manager: Consumer Tech
Imagine leading the engineering squad that will redefine how millions of users discover and engage with a beloved product.
My client is a well funded, high growth consumer tech platform with a global user base and a recent strategic partnership that's accelerating their AI and personalisation roadmap. They need an Engineering Manager who can balance hands on technical contribution with team leadership.
You'll be partnering with Product and Design as part of a leadership trio, owning the "how" behind delivery, technical strategy, and the growth of your engineers.

Here's what you'll be doing:
- Take over day to day engineering leadership for a core squad. Own people management, 1:1s, hiring, and career growth so your team can do their best work.
- Own delivery predictability using agile rituals, removing blockers, managing cross-team dependencies, and ensuring technical debt is tackled alongside feature work.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, and cross-functional teams to translate business goals into engineering tasks that improve customer engagement, retention, and loyalty.
