Pattern Labs is on a mission to bring predictability and efficiency to the most demanding, fastest paced, dynamic logistics problem of airport operations. We are a venture backed Autonomy/AI Robotics team developing a suite of tools to enhance and improve operations for airports across the country and around the world.

Candidates should be experienced leaders with a strong entrepreneurial streak. They will be ready to contribute broadly across all cloud software aspects with a hands-on leadership approach. You will be working with customers and coordinating the activities of hundreds of vehicles to facilitate the movement of tens of thousands of deliveries per day. Ideal candidates have experience with cloud systems at production scale, enjoy working with customers to understand their problems, and are excited to work with robotics. At Pattern, we value enthusiasm, energy, humility, grit, and a can-do attitude.

About The Role

This Software Manager role is an opportunity to start a new office in the UK for Pattern. It will require a blend of technical leadership, personal development & coaching, and direct software contributions. This role will span both typical management responsibilities and broader organizational ones such as fostering a great culture, building a cohesive team, and working with a very high degree of autonomy. You will help build a close collaboration with the US team but will be working on projects led out of the new office and working typical UK business hours.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
