Alpine Formula One Team – Summer Internship: Software Engineering
Alpine Formula One Team is on a mission to return to the front of the grid, and we are offering a unique opportunity for a passionate and driven undergraduate to join our Software Engineering team at our Enstone headquarters.
This internship is designed for students eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges in Formula 1, contributing to the support and evolution of existing tools, as well as creating new solutions that impact car performance, race strategy, and engineering processes.
You will be part of a collaborative team of software engineers, data scientists, and platform engineers, working together to improve all areas of the team – from car design and manufacturing to performance analysis at the track.

The Role
- Support the development, testing, and deployment of software solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
- Collaborate with engineers across departments to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Document and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Actively participate in the operational phase of our Software Development Lifecycle.
The Person
We are seeking undergraduate students currently pursuing a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field with a strong interest in software development lifecycle and motorsport.

Key Qualifications
- Proven knowledge of C# programming or similar imperative languages.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
