Software Engineering Team Lead (Hands-Off)
£55k - £70k | Ulverston, Cumbria | Hybrid
This is a hands-off Team Lead role.
We are not worried about what language you have experience with. For this role we are looking for your ability to manage a team, mentor, and lead delivery.
You'll be leading an established software engineering team, keeping delivery moving, developing people and making sure good ideas actually make it into production.

You'll be:
- Managing and mentoring a team of Software Engineers
- Running stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives
- Owning delivery and removing blockers
- Working closely with Product and senior leadership
- Coordinating software releases
- Helping improve engineering practices and delivery

What you'll need:
- Experience managing software engineers
- Strong technical understanding (you need to be able to get the respect of Developers)
- Experience delivering software in an Agile environment
- Comfortable coaching, challenging and supporting developers
- An interest in using AI to improve engineering productivity
