We are seeking an existing Software Integration Engineer – AI Trainer to help advance AI development as part of DataAnnotation’s coding team.
As a member of our community of over 100,000 professionals—including frontend, backend, full-stack, machine learning, and other engineers—you’ll contribute to real-world AI impact through meaningful, flexible work.
The Role
Working on our platform, you’ll handle stimulating programming tasks including:
- Developing solutions for challenging coding problems
- Building beautiful, functional apps
- Analysing and visualising data
- Shaping AI models capable of learning, adapting, and evolving

Responsibilities
- Design and solve diverse coding challenges, with an Android focus, to train AI models:
- Android (Kotlin)
- Cross-platform frameworks
- UI/UX development
- Write clear, high-quality code snippets with detailed explanations.
- Evaluate AI-generated code for:
- Accuracy
- Performance
- Clarity
- Provide actionable feedback that directly improves AI learning capabilities.

Requirements
Essential
- Strong English fluency (native or bilingual level).
- Proven coding experience:
- Preferred: Kotlin
- Proficiencies: At least one from: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
- Outstanding technical writing (accuracy, grammar, and precision).
- Degree-equivalent:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress).
Preferred
- Background as a software developer, coder, engineer, or programmer.
Notes & Eligibility
- Payment: Processed via PayPal (handles currency conversion). DataAnnotation will never ask candidates to pay.
- Eligible markets only: Open to US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Contract status: Independent contractor role.
