Software Delivery Coordinator
📍 Woking (3 days per week onsite)
💰 Up to £45,000 DOE
Akkodis is supporting a leading automotive organisation in the search for a Software Delivery Coordinator to join their vehicle software development team.
This role sits at the heart of software delivery, coordinating engineering teams, software releases, programme milestones, and delivery readiness across complex vehicle development programmes.
🚨 Essential Requirements
- Automotive OEM experience is a MUST (vehicle manufacturer environment)
- Strong understanding of Software Engineering / Software Development Lifecycles is a MUST

What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate software delivery activities across vehicle programmes
- Track software development milestones, gateway readiness and programme deliverables
- Manage and monitor requirements, issues and actions through Jira
- Support software release planning and code-drop activities
- Produce accurate programme reporting and risk tracking
- Work closely with Software Engineers, DREs, Domain Leads and cross-functional engineering teams
- Escalate delivery risks and drive timely resolution of issues
- Support governance, programme reviews and software readiness activities
What We're Looking For
- Experience working within an Automotive OEM
- Understanding of software engineering principles and software development lifecycles
- Experience coordinating engineering or software delivery programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Jira or similar project / issue tracking tool experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Knowledge of embedded software, electrical systems or vehicle systems would be highly advantageous
