Software Solutions Engineer

Overview

Location: United Kingdom | Remote

The Software Solutions Engineer is responsible for the design, build, and implementation of tailored business applications built upon the company's software platforms to address specific business challenges. This position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to understand solution requirements, assess technical needs, and deliver solutions that improve business outcomes for customers and partners within specified release timelines.

Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do

  • Participate in the review and understanding of industry use cases to facilitate effective solution designs and software configurations to be delivered to the market.
  • Review and collaborate with team members on technical requirements and design documents to facilitate the configuration of moderately complex solution logic.
  • Configure moderately complex software solutions to meet specific business needs, ensuring alignment with functional requirements.
  • Perform initial testing of moderately complex solution configurations, ensuring they meet specified requirements, and thoroughly document testing criteria for the quality assurance team.
  • Provide support to customers and partners as part of early adoption programs, including assisting with setup, deployment, troubleshooting, and gathering feedback to ensure a positive user experience.
  • Triage and prioritize non-critical software defects reported by the technical support team, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with relevant stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with relevant database, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with configuring, designing, and deploying software solutions.
  • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Good data gathering, interviewing, and analytical/problem-solving skills with strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to use original thinking to translate goals into new ideas and design solutions that drive meaningful outcomes.
  • Good knowledge of products, and systems administration.
  • Good facilitation and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and mobilize team members and business partners.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and development processes, taking on tasks independently and seeking guidance as necessary.

Pay Transparency

£41,488 – £48,910 annually
