Role: Software Support Team
As part of the Software Support Team in the UK, you will provide 2nd-level technical support to customers, focusing on resolving issues with a solution-orientated approach. Your role involves collaborating with a UK-based team while sharing on-call responsibilities and coordinating with global software teams to deliver software support and development.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 2nd-line support services for new and long-standing customers
- Perform software support, including documentation of service cases with detailed problem and solution descriptions
- Collaborate with functional departments on software projects, providing analytical feedback
- Support international project commissioning and post-go-live services
- Offer customer service support for existing systems
- Develop software solutions for Warehouse Control System (WCS), Material Flow Control (MFC), and Operating System (OFS) systems (e.g., PTL, PbV)
- Process change requests for existing customers
Qualifications & Experience
Technical Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in Java software development
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management/Execution systems is highly beneficial
- Confident experience with database management (Oracle)
- Strong familiarity with warehouse automation technologies and software architectures

Communication & Problem-Solving
- Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating patience and persistence when addressing customer challenges
- Experience in 2nd-level IT or Software Support Operations
Work Requirements
- Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call shifts as part of the team
- Ability to travel when necessary
