About the role
We are looking for a Software Support & Trainer to join AGTEK supporting UK and European customers.
In this role, you will act as a key technical partner for our customers, combining software support, customer training, and product feedback. You will help users get the most out of AGTEK applications while contributing to continuous product improvement, quality assurance, and training content development.

Responsibilities
Customer Support
- Provide high‑quality technical support to customers and sales teams via phone, email, and remote sessions
- Troubleshoot user issues across AGTEK’s software suite and mobile applications
- Deliver a friendly, professional, and timely customer support experience
- Identify, document, and report software defects; verify and validate bug fixes
- Propose feature enhancements and workflow improvements based on customer feedback
Training & Customer Enablement
- Deliver online and in‑person training sessions for customers
- Lead multi‑day, hands‑on training classes
- Train internal teams and sales professionals
- Communicate product updates, best practices, and recommended workflows
Content Development
- Contribute to the creation of training materials, including guides, videos, exercises, webinars, and tutorials
- Support continuous improvement of product documentation
Product Testing & Quality
- Test new software releases and features
- Validate fixes and support quality assurance processes
- Provide structured, workflow‑based feedback to development teams
Additional Responsibilities

- Support and advise on drone‑related workflows
- Represent AGTEK at industry events, trade shows, and customer sessions
- Collaborate closely with Hexagon Geosystems teams across regions
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in heavy civil construction or a closely related field
- Strong ability to learn, understand, and explain software solutions
- Excellent communication, customer service, and teaching skills
- Solid technical troubleshooting capabilities
- Self‑motivated, reliable, and professional working style
- Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe
Nice to have
- Previous experience with AGTEK software or similar construction / earthworks solutions
- Exposure to drone / UAV workflows and digital construction technologies
- Background in surveying, digital construction, modeling, or machine control
- Experience delivering software training or creating training / enablement content
