Software Team Lead - Tech for Good
Bristol (Hybrid - 2 days in office)
Up to £65,000 + excellent benefits
Are you a Software Team Lead who wants your work to genuinely make a difference? We're partnering with an organisation at the forefront of assistive technology, creating products that give a voice to people without speech. This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-performing team while contributing to technology that has a real, life-changing impact.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role, with a strong emphasis on line management and team development, alongside some coding.
You'll:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers and QA specialists
- Drive agile delivery and foster a high-performing team culture
- Collaborate with product and technical stakeholders on roadmap planning
- Contribute to architecture and technical direction
- Still get involved in coding (C# / .NET), testing, and problem solving

This role is weighted towards people leadership, so proven line management experience is essential.
Key Experience Required
- Proven line management / team leadership experience
- Strong experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Lean)
- Solid background in C# /.NET development
- Experience with integration and unit testing
- Passion for building high-quality, maintainable software
- Ability to balance delivery, quality, and team development
