QA Engineer | Manual Testing | Onsite in Fareham, Hampshire | Full-Time | £30,000 – £40,000

We’re working with a rapidly expanding tech company based in Fareham. As they continue to scale, they’re looking to bring a QA Engineer into their in-house engineering team to help ensure quality across their mobile (Flutter), web, and internal platforms.

This is a hands-on manual testing role suited for a Junior or Mid-Level QA professional who is passionate about quality, detail, and collaboration. You'll play a vital role in identifying bugs, verifying features, and working closely with cross-functional teams. There's also potential to grow into test automation or software development if you’re interested.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out manual testing across mobile apps, web platforms, and internal systems
  • Write and maintain clear, reusable test cases
  • Log and track bugs effectively, with accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to understand functionality and edge cases
  • Support regression, smoke, and release testing
  • Help refine internal QA processes and contribute to documentation
  • (Optional) Get involved in automation testing or UAT/customer feedback as you grow

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
