Software Test Engineer

Overview

1+ Years Experience - Great Opportunity to Develop Skills - 5 Days Onsite

About the Role

You will design, create, and maintain test cases and test scripts for enterprise-scale applications, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability across cloud platforms and custom solutions.

The role also involves contributing to test plans, improving test coverage, supporting regression and integration testing, and helping maintain quality standards.

Why This Role?

  • The key expectation for a new tester is not immediate expertise, but the ability to learn, take ownership, apply guidance and progressively become a reliable contributor to the QA team.
  • You will be working in a collaborative environment which believes learning by asking questions is just as important as following instructions and guidelines.
  • You will get great exposure working closely with Senior Testers which will see you sharpen your skills far greater than you would in other, less results driven environments.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design, create, and maintain test cases and test scripts for enterprise-scale applications, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability across cloud platforms and custom solutions.
  • Executing manual and automated tests, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with Software Developers and Business Analysts.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies to refine requirements and test strategies.
  • Contribute to test plans, improving test coverage, supporting regression and integration testing, and helping maintain quality standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
