At Spark Solar, we’re transforming the residential solar game. We don’t just sell off-the-shelf systems—we handcraft high-performance, bespoke setups with the customer’s needs at heart.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for self-employed Solar Consultants across Greater Manchester and its adjacent boroughs—those who want to throw out the script and focus entirely on closing deals, building relationships, and excelling at what they do best.

  • Qualified Leads Only – Pre-booked, pre-qualified appointments with engaged customers. No cold calling required.
  • Fully Managed Logistics – You’ll have a dedicated team handling your diary, scheduling, and route optimisation. Just drive, consult, and close—no wasted time or confidential plans.
    • Fuel Allowance: Up to £200 per week for your first 4–6 weeks (region- and role-based).
  • Realistic Earning Potential: Commission-only with an OTE of £65k+ (top performers earn substantially more).
  • Territory Alignment: High-demand routes, mapped to your local geography, ensuring a steady flow of leads.

  • Greater Manchester Core & Suburbs: Stockport, Altrincham, Sale, Worsley, etc.
  • Northern Powerhouse Belt: Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, and Oldham.
  • Mersey & Lancashire Border Corridor: Wigan, Warrington, Preston, Blackburn, Chester, Crewe.

The Mission: What You’ll Do

  • Consultative Expertise: Lead technical and financial assessments, customising solutions after-the-fact.
  • Strategic Closing: Deliver and finalise energy solutions tailored to each customer’s unique needs.
  • Pipeline Ownership: Plan routes, schedule follow-ups, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on solar innovations, battery integration, and the evolving UK home energy ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven 2+ years experience in field sales, direct sales, or high-end retail.
  • A “closing mentality”: highly self-motivated, goal-driven, and passionate about performance.
  • Strong people skills—rapid relationship-building and active listening.
  • Excellent organisation and ability to manage a fast-paced schedule.
  • Proficient with CRM tools and digital reporting frameworks.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
