Electrician (Solar PV & Renewables)

📍 South Wales (Local Work)

💰 £36,000 - £60,000 DOE + Performance Bonuses

🚐 Full-Time, Site-Based Role

Overview

We are looking for experienced Electricians to join a growing renewables team delivering high-quality Solar PV and energy efficiency installations across South Wales.

This is a hands-on role focused on installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of renewable energy systems, with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, testing and commissioning of Solar PV systems
  • Electrical works associated with renewable energy installations
  • Supporting electrical aspects of Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems
  • Inspection, testing, certification, fault finding and remedial works
  • Ensuring full compliance with BS7671 and manufacturer standards
  • Maintaining high health & safety standards on all sites

Requirements

Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proven experience in electrical installation work
  • Strong fault-finding and testing ability

Desirable

  • Solar PV installation experience
  • Inspection & Testing qualification (e.g. 2391 or equivalent)
  • Experience within renewables (Solar / ASHP / Battery Storage
