☀️ We’re Hiring: Qualified Roofer – Solar PV Projects (Non-ECO Work) 🔨
📍 Location: South Wales (working across the region)
💼 Employment: Full-time, permanent
💷 Salary: £35,000 per annum + performance-related bonus
We’re looking for an experienced Qualified Roofer to join our growing renewables team, supporting the delivery of high-quality non-ECO Solar PV installations across South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an established roofing and solar team, working on well-planned projects with a strong focus on quality, safety, and professional workmanship.
The Role:
- ✅ Carry out roofing works associated with Solar PV installations
- ✅ Install and make good solar mounting systems
- ✅ Work across a range of roof types including slate, clay, concrete, and flat roofs
- ✅ Ensure all penetrations are fully sealed and roofs remain weather-tight
- ✅ Identify and report roof defects before installation
- ✅ Work closely with electricians and project teams on-site
- ✅ Maintain excellent health & safety standards when working at height

We’re looking for someone with:
- ✔ Proven roofing experience
- ✔ Demonstrable experience working on Solar PV projects
- ✔ Strong knowledge of roof structures and weatherproofing
- ✔ High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- ✔ Good understanding of working at height and site safety
- ✔ Full UK driving licence
Desirable (not essential):
- ⭐ CSCS card
- ⭐ PASMA / Working at Heights training
- ⭐ Experience working alongside electricians on renewables projects
- ⭐ Established roofing team or mate available
